MOGI ADVENTURES

Fulfillment/Experimentation

It’s been a minute Fabtastic people, adulting took over a bit. I missed the mountains and sharing my experiences with you, I am back. It felt so good to be out in nature and hugging trees.

Picture perfect 😉
Or seating inside the tree😆

It was paradise on Spring Day in the North West; it was scorching hot, it felt like summer. We ate dust, literally. The first 3km hiking trail we shared with dirt bikers, they kept on passing us and leaving dust on our faces. It was all in the name of fun; it was a busy 3km, but I loved every minute of it. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

When I say we ate dust😃

The place is called MOGI Adventures, right at the beginning of Hartbeespoort. To me this was a new spot, I always get excited to discover new hiking spots. From the outside when you get off the road to the entrance, it looks like a deserted place, but as soon as you drive in, WOW, paradise. As soon as you park, you are greeted by the beautiful full view of the crocodile river, birds, ducks swimming in the river. It is picture perfect. The place offers a 30-minute tutorial for first timers about the trail and nature surrounding the property. I thought that was a nice touch.

Fun chaos🤩

The trail itself is easy to moderate, however some parts of the trail are tough, incline here and there. You can do 6km, 8km and 10km trail, we did 10km. Besides hiking trails and dirt bikes, they offer corporate adventure team buildings, Picnics & weddings, and custom tours. It is great place for fun for the entire family, young and old.

Permanent holiday
Scenic views 😍
Serenity

You hike along the stretch of the mountains and the amazing crocodile river at the same time. It was such a treat. I mean what more can a girl ask for, LOL. You get to see a site of beautiful residential estate along the riverbanks. People who live there are on a permanent holiday, they are surrounded by beautiful nature every day.

Partner in mountains😍

When I hike in Hartbeespoort with Pumza we spend the whole day discovering new things around the area. This time we finally went to the place that sells spices and offer experimental coffees. We’ve driven past this place many times because every time we pass there it is already closed. This time we made it on time. I’ve always been curious of the name experimental coffees. You know with me; it takes the word “coffee” to get me hooked LOL. We walked in, it smelled so good, smell of spices, teas, and coffee. I was walking around the shop sniffing different coffees, I was in heaven. We had a tutorial about organic spiced teas, and what makes the coffee experimental. We are going to frequent the place from now on. It is the small things that brings joy to me, it is that simple.

Betty was awesome 🤩

Glad to be back.

Kari Skogland says, ” Experimentation is a big part of how you find the best of the best”.  Well, I believe on this hike, I discovered best of the best in many ways I cannot articulate.

Until next time Fabtastic people!
